OK so I replace the rack bushings with ES brand on my 90 TT. I noticed that the steering knuckle, the one from the rack to the steering column was bad so I wanted to replaced it too. Go to replace the knuckle and it appears to be too short.( Same size as original) The knuckle does'nt cover the spline enough to get the bolt through. It's like the steering column shrunk. What the hell is goin on here? Am I going to have to go with Nissan bushings? Will the ES bushings make that much of a difference as far as fit? Suggestions, hint's, tip's
